We have spent the past few months talking about the new graphics card, and unfortunately, many of them have been negative. NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series launch has been disastrous, melting cables, blackscreen driver crash, lost ROPs, and prices and availability issues that are just ridiculous. Trump’s prices are just making things worse.
But new, more affordable cards are coming! RTX 5060 TI recently launched and immediately like every other card this year. Sold. Even 8GB version. And this gives me some concern, because Nvidia is going to launch more cheap RTX 5060 in the coming month and it will only come with 8 GB VRAM. We can see the 16GB version at some point, but the key version of 8GB is likely to be: and you really shouldn’t buy it.
Why 8GB is not enough
The sheer quantity of video memory on your graphics card for many graphics card breeds did not make a Huge The difference was one of the factors that affected the overall performance, but you didn’t need the least needed unless you go for high -end gaming with all the visuals.
But in 2025, there are many real problems with enough VRAM. And we’re not talking about ancient 2GB or even new 4GB cards.

But you know what was a huge difference? Real world performance. Not every game, remember you. Some preliminary studies of the 8GB version have shown that it has shown that it has shown a lot of comparisons in sports compared to the 16GB version, forcing some to remove these concerns that the 8GB version will perform less. Such measures were premature.
In the coming weeks after the 8GB version, it proved to be much bad actor, in some cases just a part of the frames who could manage the 16GB version in just a second. Not surprisingly, NVIDIA did not want to send these cards review samples.
Proof of this is in (poor) performance
Overclocking.com Tested a range of sports and considered the 8GB card seriously unprofitable, and even disqualified in some sports. I Spiderman 2 At 4K with high quality DLSS, the 8GB model manages only 13 FPS, while the 16GB version can kill an average of 51 FPS. The frame time on the 8GB version was also scary.
At 1080p, the 16GB version arranged 84 FPS, while the 8GB version was badly behind on 59 FPS. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Now fell down and won’t be able to run on the 8GB version, and Warrham 40,000: Space Marine 2 Discovering terrible structure loading problems.

Tech Spot Review A similar disparity was found between the two models in the 8GB card, in which some cases of the 16GB version perform only a few percent better, but others have more than 80 %.
Although this difference was less clear at 1080p, where you can argue that 5060 TI 8GB has been targeted, it increases and makes it possible to play games on frame generation 1440p and even 4K with these cards. But not without proper VRAM.
Anyway they are all very expensive
RTX 50 Series Cards were at a significant price in MSRP, but since then with their fell costs and tariff riot prices have been running prices, new NVIDIA graphics cards (and AMDS RX 9000, to some extent), are bunker and are really difficult.
But only whatever can be done to get a new card, those who try to buy it leave the concert. Which means that 8 GB 5060 TGPU has been sold rapidly, no one with the game is sensible about wise abilities. If it launches with just one memory, it will be even more true with RTX 5060. The gamers will pay for a card that they cannot do, because it does not have so much memory. In some cases, it may not be able to play something special. Nvidia is not making it clear from afar.

In 2025, no graphics card should be less than 12GB at a cost of more than $ 300. It also goes for AMD. If it falls 8GB version of 9060 XT, don’t buy it too.
NVIDIA and AMD need to see the storage of these cards so sit on the shelf to make a point.
